Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use CommonControl, including with a keyboard or a screen reader.
What we've done
- We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA.
- Text and controls meet the contrast levels.
- Results are always labelled in words, never by colour alone.
- Everything works with a keyboard, and the results count is announced to screen readers when it changes.
- The ownership diagram has a table view with the same information.
- Pages work on small screens and at 400% zoom without scrolling sideways.
Known issues
- The PDF report isn't tagged for screen readers. Everything in it is also on the results page.
- Moving around inside the diagram needs a mouse or touch screen; the table view doesn't.
Tell us about a problem
If something doesn't work for you, please tell us what happened and which page you were on.
